Training Systems
I am taking a course right now that talks about information systems (IS) as it applies to business. The point my professor has made is that IS technology should support and be align with the business strategy. Therefore, i believe the technology used to create a training system for a company should also be align with the technology used to create the IS.

I'm assuming you are talking about Dr. Harris's class? I took that class last semester and I totally agree with you on this topic. It is very important for a business these days to be aligned with their IS strategy. I worked at multiple companies last semester and I have experienced how important is for them to stay ahead in technology. The IS and IT has become one of the key aspect of their business. From communications to staying ahead of competitors depends heavily upon their IS strategies.
